Family Eyecare of Roswell celebrated its relocation to 910 Holcomb Bridge Road in Roswell with a Grand Opening Wednesday evening. Dr. Maurice E. Zadeh, O.D., and his staff welcomed a full house of guests, patients, vendors, associates, family and friends.


Family Eyecare of Roswell has been in business since 1994 and offers eye exams, medical eye care and optical services to include prescription eyeglasses and contact lenses. For LASIK eye surgery they are partnered with Woolfson Eye Institute and for eye surgery and cosmetic eye care they are partnered with Omni Eye Services of Atlanta. There are six persons employed by the business currently with plans for expansion.


Dr. Zadeh is a 1990 graduate of the University of Alabama-Birmingham’s School of Optometry. He specializes in pediatric eye care, orthokeratology, LASIK co-management, primary eye care and contact lenses. He is fluent in three languages, English, Persian and Spanish.


Dr. Zadeh served as past president of the Georgia Optometric Association in 2006 and 2007 and was recognized as Georgia Optometrist of the Year in 2007 by that organization. He lives in Marietta with his wife, Hengameh, and their two children, Shawdon and Melody. Melody, 9, had the honor of cutting the ribbon at the grand opening Wednesday evening.


According to Dr. Zadeh, Family Eyecare of Roswell was founded with the goal of providing patients with the highest quality of vision and medical eye care in a personalized and independent setting. “Through utilization of the latest technology, we provide thorough management of functional vision abnormalities, eye diseases, optical and contact lens needs,” said Dr. Zadeh.  “We also strive to ensure a fun, friendly and comfortable atmosphere for all ages.”


Dr. Zadeh said their goal is to help their patients maximize their performance at home, school, work and play. To achieve this they offer a unique range of services including comprehensive eye examinations for all ages, including infants, pre-schoolers and seniors, diagnosis and management of eye diseases, including but not limited to, dry eyes, eye infections, glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic eye disease, and macular degeneration; contact lens prescription and evaluation services, including bifocals, keratoconic, astigmatic and other specialty lenses; laser vision consultation and co–management (LASIK) services; and Ortho-K non–surgical reduction of nearsightedness.

Family Eyecare of Roswell is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m., and opened Thursday and Saturday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. They are located conveniently at the northeast corner of Holcomb Bridge and Warsaw roads at 910 Holcomb Bridge Road, Suite 100, in a former Regions Bank building.
