Is Newt's Waterloo Pawlenty's Iwo Jima?
As Newt Gingrich's fledging presidential campaign implodes with his staff's mass exodus, who stands to benefit? Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty. His national campaign manager, Nick Ayers is targeting the state of Georgia, and Pawlenty is coming to Georgia at the end of this month to campaign and open an office. He also just picked up an endorsement from former Ga. governor Sonny Perdue, who promptly abandoned his support of Gingrich after his management team jumped ship yesterday. Pawlenty is the most under-rated GOP Presidential candidate in the field.
