"Old Guard" GOP just doesn't get it

They are too consumed with power therefore they are the likely group that is going to cost the Republicans big in the 2012 election.

I signed on to get your email news as a way to get what I thought to be unbiased political coverage mostly of the Republican Party in Georgia, because trying to be a part of this group is not possible for most Republicans. The local units are power and socially closed and so is the state organization. After reading and hearing what took place at the meeting in Macon and your coverage I no longer want to be a part of [it] or your coverage.

Sadly the "Old Guard" from the county, state and national Republican party just don't get it. They are too consumed with power therefore they are the likely group that is going to cost the Republicans big in the 2012 election.

I am Republican, have always been Republican, worked in NC in the last presidential election (as Ga. apparently did not need our help). My grandmother was one of the first women delegates to the Republican National Convention from Oklahoma and to see what is happening in the Party by the old guard is pure greed, arrogance and power hunger. NO, I am not a member of the Tea Party group, the ultra conservative right. I am a person who cares deeply about my country and what happens to it.
