The Hispanic male was found lying on the sidewalk shortly after 10:00 p.m.-- after officers responded to a "shots-fired" call. The victim was transported to Grady Hospital. Medical officials say his injuries are not considered life threatening. The youth remains in Grady Hospital with one gunshot wound and what appear to be several stab wounds.
Witnesses said they saw two men leaving the scene on foot. Both were described as wearing jeans and dark hooded sweatshirts. No motive is known at this time. Northwood Drive is located just off of the 5600 block of Roswell Road.
