American Legion Post 201 in Alpharetta has accepted a token of gratitude from a local Brownie troop.
Representatives of troop 3982 from Saint Jude the Apostle Church presented a hand-made quilt to the veterans organization as a way of saying thank you for hosting the girls for instruction on the proper method of flying and caring for the American Flag.
The Legion Post, one of the state’s largest, is comprised of approximately 825 wartime veterans who served during WWII, Korea, Vietnam and every conflict since, including the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
