Alpharetta Police Capture Armed Home Invasion Suspects


Alpharetta Cops Capture Two of Three Armed Robbery Invasion Suspects in a High Speed Chase into Atlanta

 

 

 

 

 

The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety 911 Center received an emergency 911 call at 6:53 a.m. from the victim of a home invasion.

 

The caller stated three masked armed gunmen entered the residence on Club Court and held the homeowner and his family at gun point while they stole TV’s, jewelry and cash.

Two of the suspects then left the residence by stealing the home owners 2008 Black Chevrolet Escalade.

 

The third suspect left in an unknown personal vehicle. All area police units were advised to be on the lookout for the Escalade. Shortly after the incident.

 

A Milton police officer spotted the stolen Cadillac Escalade traveling south on GA 400 near Windward Parkway. Additional Alpharetta Police units responded to the area as the suspects continued on GA 400.

 

Alpharetta cops and the Milton unit attempted a traffic stop on the Escalade. The suspects fled in excess of 100 miles per hour on GA 400 southbound traveling towards Atlanta. The pursuit continued into Atlanta until the suspects lost control and crashed on Old Bankhead Highway. The suspects were immediately arrested as the Escalade caught fire and was destroyed.

 

Taken into custody was two black males identified as Demarcus Graham, 20 years old and Jamal Grier Demarkus, 18 years old.

 

The suspects were medically cleared at the scene and transported to the Alpharetta Jail Annex. Alpharetta police are seeking a third suspect involved in the incident now.

Investigators have determined that this burglary crew had struck an unoccupied residence on the same street prior to being involved with residence that was occupied.

This incident remains under investigation.
