Earlier this year, Fifth Third Bank announced their entrance into an agreement with The Kroger Co. to open 30 full-service banking locations in select Kroger stores around metro Atlanta by the end of 2010. One of the new locations just opened July 15th in the Mansell Village Shopping Center on Crossville Road.
The new location not only offers convenience as it’s stationed within Kroger, but it also offers complete banking services with teller lines, an ATM, space for lending, investment and mortgage offices, and even extended hours seven days a week. What could be more convenient than banking at the same place you shop for your groceries?
Managing the new Mansell Village Bank Mart is Jerry Banks. He couldn’t be any more excited about the new location for Fifth Third. “This location was identified as one of the hot spots in regards to banking as far as growth and opportunity,” said Banks.
Fifth Third Bank in Mansell Village strives to offer the community more convenience – not just regarding location, but also its hours of service. The new Bank Mart is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 7 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm, and Sunday from 12 pm to 4 pm.
More importantly, Fifth Third Bank primarily focuses on customer services. “We’re very much about community involvement,” said Banks. “We have the Dream Guard program which helps people going through hard times as far as finances – with their home values declining, we’ve come up with a program to give families ideas and practices that might be able to help them streamline their finances, save more money, and help impact their credit score on a positive side.”
The Mansell Village Bank Mart marks the seventh Bank Mart opening since the beginning of 2009, and is planning a Grand Opening Celebration September 12th from 9 am – 5 pm, featuring food, refreshments, radio broadcasts and chances to win up to $1,000.
