To celebrate its first year in business, The Bridge Mexican Gourmet, has chosen Find a Way Home, formerly known as Ahmen Housing, as the recipient of its most recent fundraising efforts.

The Bridge, celebrating their first anniversary Oct 2-4, is introducing a new line of desserts. The restaurant has pledged to donate $1.00 for every dessert sold during the month of October to the Opal House, a group of three families who have reached out for assistance.

Sue Sharp, Executive Director of Find a Way Home, states, “We are thrilled to partner with our one of our favorite restaurants which also believes in community taking care of community.” Find a Way Home’s mission is to provide quality, affordable housing to families in North Fulton and ensure successful home ownership through a variety of educational programs that build financial stability, preserve dignity and strengthen the community.

The Bridge, in their infancy, has established a history of local community support. The gourmet Mexican restaurant has supported such organizations as the Drake House, The Cottage School, Ahmen Housing, the Child Development Association, North Fulton Community Charities, local junior sports teams and is a participant in the “Find It All Roswell” program.

Agustin Garcia, owner of The Bridge Mexican Gourmet, notes, “We are very happy the restaurant has been so well received by the residents of North Fulton. We have been blessed with this opportunity and we believe it is our responsibility to take care of the community.” The Bridge Mexican Gourmet is ranked in the top 50 restaurants by Urbanspoon.com readers.
