Georgia Gas Jumps 25 cents a gallon
The summer driving season is almost here and that usually means higher prices at the gasoline pumps.
The summer driving season is almost here and that usually means higher prices at the gasoline pumps.
According to AAA Georgia's Daily Fuel Gauge Report, the statewide average for regular unleaded jumped 27 cents a gallon since a month ago, but are still below prices from a year ago.
AAA said regular averaged $2.18 a gallon Monday. Midgrade is $2.34 and premium averaged $2.44 a gallon.
The national average for regular is $2.31.
A look at metro areas showed the lowest price for regular was found in Augusta-Aiken at $2.13 a gallon. The highest was in Savannah at almost $2.21.
