When Parc Alpharetta does anything, they’re notorious for how well they entertain their guests and residents. The events never fail to surprise their residents with how well they are put together or how organized and high-end they turn out to be, and last Thursday, when they threw a get-together of jazz and hors d’oeurves, it was no different.

Parc Alpharetta, the only luxury active adult apartment community in Alpharetta, invited all of their residents as well as many community members to enjoy a night of jazz and good conversation. Residents had the chance to mingle with other residents, prospective residents had a chance to view model apartments and friends of prospective residents came out just for fun.

The apartment complex has been exclusively designed for active adults ages 55+ but everything was so luxurious, the complex looked more like a relaxing, retreat facility that could entice people of all ages. The well-decorated community room used for social gatherings, the library packed with books, the swimming pool with beautiful scenery, the fitness center, the wellness center, gourmet kitchen, and those are just to name a few, give residents the opportunity to live life to the fullest. Parc Alpharetta is truly an active adult community like no other, offering just about any and every activity from yoga to volleyball in the swimming pool; all residents are encouraged to participate.

Rosemary Dashiell-Young attended the night of jazz as a prospective resident. She currently lives in Roswell and wanted to see what Parc Alpharetta had to offer. “It’s beautiful,” she said. “Their invitations were really well-done and that’s what caught my eye in the first place. I’m completely impressed.”

Her reactions were no different than those of residents who had been attending events like jazz night more than once a month.

George and Alice ‘Leigh’ Barron moved to Parc Alpharetta in January and usually participate in many of the offered social gatherings and community events, which are compiled on a monthly calendar. Leigh explained how the events seem to be endless and there is something for everybody to enjoy, which Sharon Gilbert, Parc Alpharetta’s Activities Coordinator, said is the ultimate goal. “[We try] to get everyone involved, so nobody is left out if they don’t want to be,” she said.

Leigh Barron couldn’t help adding, “They put together great events and it’s nice to meet the other people who live here, and who might have the same interests as you.”

Amy Cunningham and Lisa Boardman also attended the jazz event to give the a-okay to their mom about a room she had put a deposit on that very night. When they arrived, they were more than impressed and ecstatic about their mom moving in.

The jazz night was flawless, everyone had a good time and it was clear the office manager and the staff co-operate beautifully with the residents. Other apartment complexes and communities have a lot to learn from Parc Alpharetta, as they’ve truly set the bar high, receiving not only satisfaction but appraisal from residents and guests alike.

Parc Alpharetta is located at 1000 Fanfare Way, Alpharetta, 30004.
