The Comcast Leaders and Achievers® Scholarship Program provides scholarships to students who strive to achieve their potential, who are catalysts for positive change in their communities, who are involved in their schools and who serve as models for their fellow students. The philosophy behind the program is to give young people every opportunity to be prepared for the future, to engage youth in their communities, and to demonstrate the importance of civic involvement, and the value placed on civic involvement by the business community.

“Comcast is proud to recognize and reward students who demonstrate excellence in the classroom and exhibit a strong commitment to community service for the Leaders and Achievers Scholarship,” said Andy Macke, vice president of government and community affairs for Comcast’s Atlanta Region. “These students are our future leaders and we hope these scholarships will help to power their dreams for success.”

“Georgia is proud to have community partners like Comcast who help make higher education a reality for local students," said Rep. Jan Jones (R-GA 46th District). “Comcast's Leaders and Achievers program not only provides scholarships to deserving Georgia students, but also acts as a motivator for young people to achieve their potential and enable them to give back and serve their communities."

Since the program’s inception there have been over 13,300 scholarship winners totaling more than $13.4 million.
