New Poll In Johns Creek: Bodker Turns The Corner (06.01.11)


Mayor's approval rating soars; Sunday liquor sales poised for easy voter approval

Guided Precision Services, a Tallahasee based polling firm, conducted a poll of likely Johns Creek voters on May 26, 2011 by telephone. The margin of error is plus or minus 5 percent. A summary of the key results of that poll are outlined below: 

Do you plan to vote in the Johns Creek City municipal elections on November 8? 

Yes- 78 percent 

No- 22 percent 

Do you believe the City of Johns Creek is: 

Heading in the right direction: 60 percent 

Heading in the wrong direction: 16 percent 

No Opinion: 24 percent 

How do you rate Mayor Mike Bodker's current job performance? 

Strongly Approve: 29 percent 

Slightly Approve: 31 percent 

No Opinion: 31 percent 

Slightly Disapprove: 4 percent 

Strongly Disapprove: 5 percent 

This year you will be asked to vote for or against allowing Sunday liquor sales in Johns Creek. If the election were held today...

Yes: 77 percent 

No: 23 percent
