Old Soldiers Day Parade
Old Soldiers Day Parade
The 57th annual Old Soldiers Day Parade was held along Alpharetta’s Main Street yesterday, honoring the sacrifices of the men and women in the armed forces. As citizens from all around North Fulton lined the street, countless floats and bands moved past City Hall toward the American Legion Post 201 on Wills Road. Pictured (clockwise from top) The Piedmont Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution led the parad, displaying the flags; the legion’s antique firetruck; Alpharetta Councilman Jim Paine and his grandchildren wave to onlookiers.
