Sandy Springs cops are looking for a middle aged male who attempted to hold up a Bank of America branch on Roswell Road.
The would be robber strolled into the lobby at 8755 Roswell Road around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday and produced a manilla envelope with a robbery note, Sandy Springs Detective Steve Rose explained to reporters.
He took off before cops came on the scene. Police first regarded the envelpope as a suspicious package, Rose confirmed.
Officials determeind later it posed no threat.
The supect is described as a white male in his mid-30s, 5-feet-11 to 6-feet tall, 180-200 pounds with blond hair and a thin beard. He was last seen wearing a white or light blue shirt, jean shorts, sunglasses and a black baseball ball cap.
