AA Baseball State Semifinals: Blessed Trinity Swept by Cook


The unranked Blessed Trinity Titans are looking to continue their magical run through the AA state baseball tournament today against state No. 1 Cook. The Titans traveled four hours south to Adel to take on Georgia's top ranked AA team, the Cook Hornets, in the state Final Four.

Cook eliminated Blessed Trinity in last year's state quarterfinal 2-1 in the best-of-three series. 

The state semifinal is a best-of-three series.

Game One 

Cook 6-5 over Blessed Trinity (Cook leads series 1-0)

Notes: Blessed Trinity overcame an early 5-1 deficit with four runs in the fifth inning to tie the game. Cook won when they scored in the bottom of the seventh on a Blessed Trinity error... Game two of the doubleheader started at 7 p.m...Statistics from game one will be available following the completion of game two.
