The eKnowledge Sponsorship Alliance, supported by six-time MLB all-star, Chipper Jones of the Atlanta Braves, NFL Professionals, and many other national organizations including the National Federation of State High School Associations and Boys and Girls Clubs of America, recently announced the extension of the National SAT/ACT sponsorship program to all local high school students for the 2009-2010 school year.
The national sponsorship alliance program began in 2005 and has distributed over 125,000 SAT/ACT PowerPrepm Programs. The sponsorship was initially created to help students impacted by the military and to those actually serving in the military. However, the recent involvement of the NFL Professionals and Chipper Jones has opened the sponsorship program to all local students during the 2009-10 school year.
To learn more about the SAT/ACT PowerPreptm Program and to obtain a free program go to: www.eknowledge.com/nfl and enter code 27717351ED.
The programs retail between $200 and $300, but the code listed in this article eliminates 100 percent of the retail cost. However, there is a small processing fee of $13.84 for materials, shipping, and customer support. This fee allows the sponsorship to continue helping thousands of students each year. Without it the sponsorship would not be possible.
In today’s world of financial crisis this might be one way for parents to reduce the cost of college preparation. The SAT and ACT tests are required by almost all four year colleges and universities in the United States.
