Johns Creek Prediction
John Breech on Johns Creek
Johns Creek is going to have one big problem this season: the number of players on the team. The Gladiators will only be suiting up 40 guys for varsity games this year, which is the game amount as some class A teams. If you're a Johns Creek student reading this right now and you're not on the football team, call your parents and tell them the football team needs more players, so you've decided to join.
The problem with only suiting up 40 guys is that almost every other team in their region will be dressing between 60 and 80. Why's this a big deal? One word: depth. If someone on the team goes down with an injury, there just aren't a lot of options. Plus, there's not a lot of experience on the team either, which means the Gladiators will have a large learning curve this year.
Now, I don't think any Johns Creek football fans expect a state championship this season; it is only the school's second year of football after all. However, I do think that the fans would like to see one, two or three wins. Will they get those one, two or three wins? I'm going to say they get two and everyone goes home happy.
Johns Creek will finish the season 2-8 and eighth in Region 7-AAAA.
