Varsity football team has been hard at work this summer as they prepare for their first season in the Georgia High School Association (GHSA). Last year, the Tigers completed a winning season in the Georgia Independent School Association, and they now face a competitive lineup in GHSA Region 5-A North, with competitors such as Fellowship Christian School, Pace Academy and Wesleyan.
The classification is a testament to the school’s growing athletic program and will bring the school into a more competitive and popular playing region. “We’re excited about the opportunity to join the Georgia High School Association,” said head football coach Jeff Pickren. “We’re ready for the challenge and the team is working hard to prepare for the upcoming season.”
