Milton Prediction
Tim's Take on Milton
Walker has a handle on what seems to be the consensus for how the region will play out.
“Just from a matchup standpoint I think it’s going to be a very competitive region and things aren’t going to unfold until the very end of the season, which is what we all want,” he said.
There’s really not a clear distinction among what should be the top teams, nor is there any area in which one of them clearly holds an advantage over the others. Milton has depth, but the quality of the players isn’t any better or worse than what Centennial, Roswell and North Forsyth have.
That type of parity doesn’t bode well for a team that isn’t used to finishing at the top of the heap.
The Eagles will win three region games and finish in the top four, but that elusive first playoff win since 1953 will evade Milton once again.
