The eyes of the Georgia high school soccer world will be on North Fulton tonight as both Centennial and Milton will be hosting AAAAA state semifinal games. The Region 6-AAAAA rivals will have their work cut out for them if they want to advance to Friday's state championship game. 

Milton will be hosting defending state champion Collins Hill. Collins Hill was ranked No. 1 in the country for the first three weeks of the regular season. The Eagles fell out of the top spot after a 2-0 loss to Northview on March 23. State No. 4 Milton and No. 2 Collins Hill met on February 27 in the Brookwood invitational. Collins Hill won that early season match 3-1. 

Centennial's route to the state final may actually be more difficult than Milton's. The Knights will host the same Northview team that handed Collins Hill their only loss. Although the state No. 1 Titans are 11-game winning streak into tonight's game, they almost lost in the first round of the state tournament. After fighting to a 1-1 tie with Lassiter, Northview eliminated the Trojans when they outscored them by one goal during penalty kicks. Northview's only loss this season was a 2-0 defeat handed to them by Norcross. Norcross' season ended on April 27 in the first round of the state tournament when Centennial beat them 3-0. 

Girls

On the girls side of things, only one North Fulton team remains: the Blessed Trinity Lady Titans. Coach Gilbert Jean-Baptiste has his team in the state Final Four for the sixth time in seven years. If the Lady Titans can get through Wednesday's game with Athens Academy, they would have a chance to claim their fifth state championship in seven years on Saturday. The Lady Titans won the AAA state title in 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008. They were moved down to AA/A following the 2008 season.
